An interesting opportunity is available for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a Leeds based Civil Engineering contractor.

The role will be primarily to support the senior management team in the commercial delivery and administration of a variety of Civils and groundworks projects, which they are delivering on a regional and national basis.

This position would suit an expereinced Quantity Surveyor with a proven track of record running their own jobs and who are now looking for that next step into a role with greater autonomy, and with the opportunity for quick progression to a senior management level.

As you will be working as part of a small commercial team, you will be required to manage the full-commercial process from pre-contract through to final accounts, and our client would therefore be looking for those candidates with a broad skills set.

The main responsibilities and duties are as follows;

- Full project life-cycle commercial management.

- Weekly project cost reporting.

- Updating of budgets with costs and forecasted expenditure across all projects.

- Manage sub contract accounts.

- Drafting of month end accounts for clients.

- Management and recording of variations and additional works.

- Material and subcontract procurement.

- Manage quantification, assessment, and analysis.
