Our client is a leading Regional Contracting business who due to continued growth is seeking to appoint a Health and Safety Advisor to join their established and friendly office in the York area.

The company:

This highly profitable Building Contractor provides construction, refurbishment and fit- out services to a variety of clients across a wide range of sectors including education, leisure, residential and community.

As a reputable and busy Contractor, Health and Safety forms an integral part of their business and as such they are looking for a key individual to assist their Regional Health and Safety Manager.

The Role:

Working alongside and in support of the Regional Health and Safety Manager, you will be based from the companies office however travel to various sites will form a large part of your job.

Typical duties will involve assisting the Health and Safety Manager in carrying out site inspections, and putting together construction phasing plans, risk assessments and method statements.

Requirements:

You will have a keen and genuine interest in health and safety, and must have a minimum 2 years relevant experience.

NEBOSH or IOSH qualifications would be beneficial however not essential if the right individual has the desire for further education and progression.
