An excellent opportunity is available for a Senior SiteEngineer who has the capability to provide a diverse range of skills from theday to day setting out, through to management of sub-contracts and acting as akey technical support to the site management team/s on civil engineering and buildprojects valued up to £10m.
Projects will be situated across the Yorkshire region, wherethe role could require you to be site specific or cover a number of smallschemes depending on the needs of the business for this leading regional maincontractor.
The role will have key responsibility in the followingareas;
- Setting out building, structures and civilsworks.
- Supervision of sub-contractors and direct labourin areas specific to your role.
- Provide key guidance and input into design whereappropriate / required.
- Work closely with the project delivery team andsupport as necessary, including areas of quality and health & safety.
- Attend site meetings.
- Complete documentation and reports associatedwith your responsibility’s.
To be considered for the role you should fit the followingcriteria;
- Have operated as a stand-alone site engineer,from ideally either a building or civils background.
- Hold a minimum of an HNC in a relevantconstruction qualification.
- Be able to set out using an EDM.
- Comfortable providing supervision and directionon key engineering stages and decisions of a project.
- Strong IT skills, including basic knowledge ofCAD
- Hold a full UK driving licence
