About the Role


We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join our client in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their career in construction who wants hands-on experience, structured development, and progression within a supportive commercial team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents
  • Support the commercial team with measurement, valuations, and cost reporting
  • Help manage subcontractor enquiries, comparisons, and payments
  • Maintain accurate project records and documentation
  • Work closely with project teams to help ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Learn and develop core QS skills with support from experienced surveyors

What We’re Looking For

  • Interest in construction, commercial management, or surveying
  • Strong numeracy and attention to detail
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Eagerness to learn and progress within the role
  • Relevant education (e.g., A-Levels, BTEC, or construction-related degree) beneficial but not essential
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
