An immediate role is available for a Finishing Manager / no.2 Site Manager to provide support to the project lead on a newbuild care home in the Swanley area.

The role could either be fixed term or freelance until next March with chance of work through to 2023 for the right candidate.

The roles primary responsibilities will be to manage the day to day site operations, covering most of the internal packages from plastering and 1st fix joinery, then eventually through to final finishes and handover.

Therefore, the successfully candidate should fit the following criteria;

  • Have a strong background within a similar site management or finishing manager role.
  • Have ideally operated within similar newbuild environments.
  • Have an eye for detail and quality.
  • Hold valid Site certification, including a minimum of SSSTS, First Aid and CSCS.
  • Be a versatile and flexible individual and be willing to go the extra mile.
  • Strong communication skills at all levels.
  • IT competent.
  • Available for a quick start.

This attractive role would suit those who want to join a smaller contractor where there are no politics, a flat management structure and you are left to get on with the job.

As previously mentioned, there is likely to be continuity of work until 2023 and would suit those who wish to work across the South of London area.
