A unique and exciting development opportunity is available for an Assistant Site Manager / Assistant PM / No.2 to join an established construction business who are looking for someone to support their existing delivery team, and help drive company excellence and uniformity.
The role would be based from their offices in the Wakefield area, where you would be required to operate on a flexible basis with some working away as required, as well as some involvement at office level.
The key responsibilities would be to support the operational activities day to day as required, including the management of sub-contractors, health and safety, record keeping and general good site house keeping.
Operating across a diverse range of sectors including industrial, healthcare, commercial offices and residential, you will gain varied project exposure.
Therefore, candidates with the following background would be encouraged to apply;
- Have had some exposure to operational supervision or management with a construction environment.
- Ideally hold a minimum of an HNC in construction management, as well as standard site certification such as SSSTS, CSCS, First Aid and Asbestos Awareness.
- Be comfortable operating within a flexible role with some working away.
- Good IT skill set.
- Full UK driving licence
