An interesting and progressive opportunity is available for a Project / Contracts Manager to join a growing Principal Contractor, operating from their base in South Yorkshire.

The position is a hybrid role where you will be involved in project management and client interface across their larger projects, as well as having input with the delivery teams on some of their smaller schemes (like a contracts manager).

They operate across within commercial / industrial sector, on projects upto £20m, so a background within these sectors would be advantageous.

This position has come on the back of secured forward workload for 2024 and strategic growth beyond that and will therefore offer significant opportunities for further career progression.

So those who fit the following criteria would be encouraged to apply;

  • Have a proven track record in the management of projects £15m+ within the commercial building sector.
  • Have previously carried out the delivery of multiple projects as either a project manager or contract manager.
  • Have strong all-round project capability covering operational, commercial, and programming disciplines, with ability to work autonomously.
  • Have a versatile, flexible, and can-do approach to project delivery, with an eye for detail and achieving high levels of client satisfaction.
  • An excellent communicator at all levels, with ability to motivate teams and engage in a positive manner with supply chain and all stakeholders.
  • Strong IT capability.
